The idea
Chore charts don't survive contact with real families. Kids say it's done, parents can't verify, and the fridge chart is abandoned by week two. Choradora makes chores verifiable: parents assign, kids complete with photo proof, and a rewards store gives the whole loop a reason to keep going.
What shipping an app actually takes
This is the case study we point to when clients ask if we can take something from zero to launched — because we've done the entire road ourselves:
- Native iOS — Swift and SwiftUI, built for how the platform wants apps to feel
- Real backend — Firebase auth, Firestore data, cloud functions; multi-user families with parent and kid roles
- Photo verification — the feature that makes it work: chores close with proof, not promises
- The unglamorous parts — App Store review, subscriptions with StoreKit, updates, and everything else between "it works on my phone" and "it's on the store"
The outcome
A live App Store product with paying subscribers — and firsthand knowledge of every step we'd walk a client through, because we've walked it with our own product first.
